Overview of Remote Notary A Remote Notary is a professional who is authorized to perform notarial acts, such as witnessing the signing of documents, verifying identities, and taking acknowledgments, remotely. Remote Notaries are typically employed by law firms, banks, and other organizations that require notarization of documents. They are also employed by individuals who need documents notarized but cannot physically be present for the notarization. Detailed Job Description of Remote Notary Remote Notaries are responsible for performing notarial acts, such as witnessing the signing of documents, verifying identities, and taking acknowledgments, remotely. They must ensure that all documents are properly notarized and that all parties involved in the transaction are properly identified. Remote Notaries must also ensure that all documents are properly signed and that all parties involved in the transaction are aware of the notarization process. Remote Notary Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of notarial laws and regulations
