Rehab Intake Coordinator Jobs

Demonstrates excellent customer services and listening skills to understand customer needs.

Excellent proofreading and grammar skills.

Ability to acquire knowledge of state, federal and other regulatory agencies related to facility and patient care.

Ability to follow through on issues related to insurance verification/approval of benefits.

Ability to input data accurately using various computer software programs.

Ability to accurately complete financial calculations.

Prior office management experience is strongly preferred but not required.

A certificate or diploma in Office Management (or similar field) is preferred but not required.

Strong interpersonal skills are required.Additional Information

Schedules new and existing patients.

Registers new and existing patients into the hospital’s EMR computer system.

Patient insurance information is collected and scanned for all patient charts.

Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama

Current Multi State RN License in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*

Certified Rehab Nurse within 18 months of entry into position

Nurses’ Aide Certification or equivalent health paraprofessional training and/or one year of experience in the rehabilitation field preferred.

Completes assigned tasks as directed by the TCN, Area Manager and/or Regional Director.

Ability to demonstrate customer service and soft skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Orders and maintains office supplies per company policy.

Responsible for the department filing, maintaining all filing cabinets, charts, and binders as described in the Facility Organizational Policy.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in OT, PT or ST.

Experience: Two (2) years experience as a clinician.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed to practice in PT, OT or ST Minnesota.

READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures.

Stand - Continuously Over 2/3 (5.5 – 8 hours)
