Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) are healthcare professionals who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. RPSGTs are responsible for setting up the equipment, monitoring the patient during the study, and interpreting the results.Detailed Job Description:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologists are responsible for performing sleep studies on patients in order to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. They set up and operate specialized equipment to monitor and record a patient’s sleep patterns and vital signs during a sleep study.
