Registered Polysomnographic Technologists are responsible for performing sleep studies on patients in order to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. They set up and operate specialized equipment to monitor and record a patient’s sleep patterns and vital signs during a sleep study. RPSGTs also provide patient care and education, and may be involved in research projects.
