Provides experienced care and patient education on disease prevention and restorative measures

Delegates and assigns tasks to licensed and unlicensed health care workers within the scope of their job responsibilities

ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

A minimum of 3 years of Acute Care Nursing experience required

2 years of Imaging Nursing experience preferred

Experience responding to codes highly preferred

Two (2+) or more years of Cardiothoracic RN Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital.

Experience with in Cardiac or Plastics.

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.

RN License issued by the State of California.

BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work; time management skills

Sufficient education to obtain a valid California RN license

Three years Medical/Surgical experience strongly preferred.

Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all items of the Staff Nurse Skills Criteria at the conclusion of the probationary period

Completion of PCU training or previous RN experience at the PCU level.

#122094 (RN) Per Diem Registered Nurse - Surgical PCU

Prior experience in blood donor setting preferred

The Per Diem Blood Donor RN functions under supervision by charge nurse or senior licensed technical/clinical personnel

Collecting whole blood from voluntary blood donors and performing blood component collection in house and on mobile blood drive sites

Serves as a problem-solving resource

Performs blood component collection by apheresis for red cells, platelets and plasma

Participates in special projects and assignments as specified

Knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position

BSN and the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing

Six (6) months of clinical experience

Experience working with hemodialysis patients

Two (2) years experience as Hemodialysis nurse

Active American Heart Association CPR Certification

ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification with recent experience (in the last (6) six months).

Must have a minimum of one (1) year of active oncology RN experience with recent infusion experience.

Must possess proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Performs tasks as assiged/required for student nurses.

Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required

Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.

Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

6 months to 1 year experience as a Clinical RN I at Marin General Hospital; or

Possession of the clinical experience as identified in the appropriate unit -specific job description addendum.

Sufficient education to obtain a valid California RN license

Must have a minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care IMU/PCU RN experience.

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.

Educating patients, families, and caregivers on symptom management and end-of-life support.

Assisting with medication management and administration.

Conducting 22-25 visits per week for productivity, offering comprehensive hospice care to patients in their homes.

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Hospice care.

Experience with Brightree/Matric Care is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

California Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and Furnishing License Certification.

National NP board certification in aligned specialty with the practice area.

Demonstrated knowledge of common diagnostic tests, exams, and procedures used in a clinic setting.

Strong ability to manage own patient load.

Two (2+) or more years of Oncology Infusion or Hematology Oncology experience.

ER and/or Urgent Care experience.
