6 years of Retail Loss Prevention experience, including District/Regional Management experience

Management of asset protection staffing for all store locations in the region, including managing payroll and expense to plan.

Conduct and manage internal and external investigations, internal investigation interviewing, external apprehension programs, audits, shortage reduction programs and system controls.

Develop competency in internal and external investigations, auditing, shortage reduction programs and system controls.

Audit the Financial, Merchandising and Operations divisions of assigned locations and provide focused and actionable analysis of results.

Build strong relationships with law enforcement and legal professionals to successfully interface with these partners on criminal and civil matters.

Assist Risk Management in administering the Corporate Safety Program

Assist Risk Management in governmental compliance

Training and coaching of field management in CCTV operations

Maintain knowledge of Asset Protection trends, laws and governmental compliance

5 - 7 years of multi-until retail AP/LP experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Work closely with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure all safety and Risk Management initiatives are being driven

Project Management - Manages project team activities.

Change Management - Communicates changes effectively; Builds commitment and overcomes resistance.

Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

Effectively manage assigned Asset Protection Specialists with scheduling, admin items, compliance items, investigations, etc.

Manage and develop AP Coordinators assigned to the region through their AP Specialist

Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to collaborate with all levels of management.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, and/or Criminal Justice and at least 5 years of Asset Protection and/or Retail Operations experience.

Where applicable, manage in house AP Associates and AP DC personnel.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Knowledge of various local/municipal, state/provincial and federal prosecution procedures.

Knowledge of POS exception reporting software a definite advantage.

Directs major external theft cases in partnership with corporate ORC managers and Market Organized Retail Theft Managers

7 years experience in retail asst protection or comparable role

5 years experience leadership experience with direct report responsibility

Experience with technology and ability to learn and teach new tools

5 plus years experience implementing compliance review processes

5 plus years experience multi-store retail experience
