Referral Support Team Intake Specialist Jobs

Develop and maintain good working knowledge of program's Well Family System and State of Florida Healthy Start Standards and Guidelines.

Requires the ability to effectively manage caseload following performance measures by organizing and prioritizing assignments.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), in addition to SharePoint.

Experience working collaboratively with child and family-serving organizations, schools, health care providers and other community agencies.

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.

Knowledge about the Hardee, Highlands and Polk communities is desirable.

3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

2+ years health plan Utilization Management health plan experience

2+ years of management / leadership experience (with direct reports)

Department: Ascension Care Management Insurance

Manage all activities related to staffing, including hiring, training, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.

Experience working in a fast paced Call Center environment

Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes preferred

Connect with current clients to ensure customer happiness via ‘outbound calls’ that support outreach efforts while providing concierge care.

Maintain accurate and complete records for each referral by entering information into CS-Link.

Be responsible for financial clearance of referrals from non-contracted entities, from specific product lines, prior to triaging to tertiary program.

Monitor existing referrals to ensure patients are scheduled timely.

Proven understanding in California health insurance market including a proven understanding of HMO product lines.
