They also provide instruction on how to use library resources and services. Reference Librarians may also be responsible for developing and maintaining library collections, cataloging materials, and providing research assistance. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in library science or related field

• Previous experience working in a library setting

• Certification from the American Library Association (ALA)
