Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Fast paced experience working in an acute care setting

Skills working in a level 1 Trauma Center

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Demonstrated ability to accurately evaluate, assess, and treat physical therapy patients

Active Recreational Therapist license issued by the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC)

BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED)

At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years

Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing)

Participate in the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and collaborate with primary clinicians, correctional counselors, and other custody personnel to coordinate services.

A minimum of 12 months of recent experience as a Registered Dietician.

Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Conduct assessments related to psychosocial/leisure and recreation skills development/deficiency.

National or CA Recreational Therapist Certificate.

Effectively communicate any changes in patients' condition to the Director of Recreational Therapy and the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Teach coping skills and stress management techniques to patients, promoting a balanced leisure lifestyle.

A minimum of 12 months of recent experience as a Registered Dietician.

Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred: One (1) year of experience at CHOC Children’s. Clinical Affiliation in Pediatrics.

Preferred: SWC, PAMS certifications, VitalStim certifications.

Required: Completion of accredited Occupational Therapy Program. Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Preferred: Master's degree in related field.

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Occ Therapist License – CA; CCS Paneling.
