Interacts regularly with management and department leaders.

Ensuring appropriate escalation to management and/or Permanent Control (or Compliance as appropriate) as soon as an issue is identified.

Maintain current working knowledge of existing and emerging trends in Trader Voice and Voice Recording.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a relevant experience.

5+ Years’ first-hand experience in Voice Recording technologies (NICE NTR, NICE Fusion, VERINT VFC - VERBA).

Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL), installing, administration and query search operations.

You have excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills

Proficiency with computers and basic level of proficiency in working with new technical equipment is required; Mac OSX experience is preferred

Experience or interest working with recording equipment and familiarity with basic digital photography equipment is helpful

Remote (applicants must be located in the United States).

Learn StoryCorps’ recording and photography hardware inside and out

Create documentation, best-practices manuals, and training materials to be used by StoryCorps staff

Knowledge of state and county recording requirements

Perform duties and responsibilities in a timely manner

Communicate with recorder’s and treasurer’s offices for recording fees and requirements

1+ years’ experience in document audit function or similar role

Possess good communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of windows software applications

Qualification in music production or extensive experience in music production.

Budget for given projects managed.

Communicate with those involved in the music-making process, such as publishers, record label employees, agents, and managers.

Knowledgeable about audio and studio technology.

Making adjustments to musical arrangements.

Coaching singers and musicians during studio sessions.

Prior experience in a similar role or working with document recording is preferred.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements governing document recording processes.

Receive and review incoming documents to be recorded, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Enter document information into the company's designated recording system with precision and efficiency.

Background and education in audio engineering

Proficiency in Pro Tools and basic signal flow, with at least entry-level knowledge in audio engineering

Flexible schedule, as many sessions may be on call

Availability to work late hours

Discretion and the ability to maintain a private environment for artists

Willingness to learn and a genuine passion for music

Very strong negotiating skills. Knowledge in the various phases of recording and recording technologies.

Manage the department’s priorities and workflow of the A&R Operations team, company recording studio facilities and staff engineers.

Consult with A&R representative, artist, producer and artist manager to determine recording budget, schedule, location and personnel.

Collect forms from session musicians and prepare AFM session reports in order to pay wages and benefits to musicians.

Oversee and approve A&R Production Manager’s orders for production masters from mastering studios and work order instructions to Universal Mastering Studios.

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a similar position.

Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment

This position will require knowledge of various live concert making techniques and audio/video equipment.
