Overview Rbt stands for Registered Behavior Technician. This is a professional who works with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to help them learn new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and increase independence. The Rbt is responsible for implementing behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Detailed Job Description The Rbt is responsible for providing direct one-on-one instruction to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This includes implementing behavior plans developed by a BCBA, collecting data, and providing feedback to the BCBA. The Rbt must also provide support to the individual's family and caregivers.
