Railcar Mechanics are responsible for the maintenance and repair of railcars. They inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural components of railcars. They also perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot problems.

What is Railcar Mechanic Skills Required?

• Knowledge of railcar components and systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects

What is Railcar Mechanic Qualifications?
