Rail Quality Improvement Coordinator Jobs in Ohio

Consults and educates teams/staff on medication safety, human factors, culture of safety, and error prevention education tools and methodologies.

2+ years experience at the educator/coordinator setting in a business or health care related setting.

Responsible for the coordination and support of the Quality Improvement/Pt Safety/Medication Safety/Accreditation program of Children’s of Alabama.

Conducts and monitors results from root cause analyses and failure mode and effects analyses and gap analysis.

Researches appropriate literature for benchmarking and best practices.

Provides facilitation for the Quality and Safety teams and other committees.

Contributes to the management of department SharePoint, electronic medical record system, and department reporting.

Experience in provider relations and education.

Knowledge of NCQA accreditation requirements and guidelines.

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a health insurance or health care setting.

Knowledge of healthcare quality measures, i.e., STARS, HEDIS, and Pay for Performance.

Experience working in multiple systems at once and managing competing priorities.
