Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.

Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.

Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.

Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Bundle and band material such as fodder or tobacco leaves, using banding machines.

Interacting professionally with Team Members, Management, Transportation, and Drivers

Being able to use the SHTL loading function in WIMS

Understanding the proper function of the Symbol gun and how to use it

Verifying that the proper trailer type is parked at the loading bay

Inspecting all outbound freight for damage and addressing immediately

Ensuring that all freight is properly secured and identified with the proper I.D. pallet label

Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances

Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators

Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping

Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards

Start machines or equipment to begin production processes

1-3 Years of shipping experience preferred.

Great starting pay! $23.00/ hour

Responsible for accurately loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.

Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".

Operate material handling equipment; including: pallet jack, forklift, etc.

Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.

One to two years of front end loader operations. May train the right candidate.

Ability to abide by precise instructions and strict buy necessary safety rules and policies.

Must be a reliable/trustworthy team player.

Maintain a good attendance and safety record.

Occasional standing and walking required.

Ability to work long periods of time while sitting.
