Radiology Imaging Aide Jobs in Texas

Training and experience in all imaging modalities including plain films, CT, ultrasound and MRI

Board certification in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology

Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology and body imaging, and thoracic imaging

Interprets x-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology

Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects as requested or

Lectures, holds conferences, and participates in related meetings and school functions

Assists in the preparation of patients for imaging exams, providing necessary instructions/directions.

Prepares exam table/room and assists technologist(s) with patient positioning.

Prepares and cleans the equipment and scanner room before/after each patient.

Stocks supplies, linen and other items as needed within the department

Works collaboratively with technologists and support staff to ensure efficient work flow and optimal utilization of imaging devices.

Maintains ethical standards (patient confidentiality, professional conduct, etc.).
