Quality Lab Engineer Jobs in Ohio

Acting as first point of contact with CCP Operations, focusing on meeting term sheet requirements.

High School Diploma/Equivalent required with at least 5 years of related experience within a Chemical Manufacturing Environment. College degree preferred.

Excellent and proven interpersonal skills, ability to lead and influence others.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills and excellent math skills (LIMS, SAP).

Experience conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests preferred.

Knowledge of analytical instrumentation including ICP-OES, ICP-MS, XRF, XRD, surface and physical chemistry preferred.

Enter test data into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Previous experience working in a GMP regulated environment preferred.

Performs testing (bioburden, sterility, growth promotion, etc.) on finished products and in-process samples.

Documents and processes samples in a Laboratory environment.

Investigates and authors Microbiology investigations.

Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Bachelor of Science Degree in a science related field and/or prior experience in food industry is preferred, but not required

Good organizational skills, able to work alone, detail-oriented

Good person-to-person, written and telephone communication skills

Possess or able to gain technical competence to better understand manufacturing processes and the compliance requirements of a food manufacturer

Basic PC skills: Keyboard typing, Web browser, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook

Conduct analytical and physical testing of raw material samples
