Quality Control Materials Technician Jobs in Kansas

Knowledge of the practical application of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement certification, or equivalent experience is necessary to succeed in this role.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Design and implement a world-class Material flow and inventory management system that seamlessly integrates with the Lean Manufacturing process.

Direct and coordinates materials management functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs to maximize internal/external customer satisfaction.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or a management-related field.

Expertise in SAP for Logistics, Materials Management, and WM.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma. Possess at least 2 years of HVAC experience. Residential and Light Commercial knowledge. Service/Install experience

Complete the Post install Quality Control Scorecard and submit it to the Installation Manager weekly.

Facilitate training under the guidance of the Installation Manager to address opportunities, prevent further recalls and minimize customer concerns.

Handle customer concerns in a proactive and timely manner resulting in a positive experience for the customer.

Develop quarterly training schedule in collaboration with the Installation Manager.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups and/or co-workers of the organization.

Work with QCRM Manager to create and delegate actions to ensure that Manufacturing has materials released on-time.

5 years of related experience (QA/QC)

Experience with Change Control, Deviations

Perform viral assessment and author technical reports for new materials added to manufacturing processes.

Perform gap assessments between global and local procedures.

Own deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls.
