Prepare quality updates and communicate them to department managers and supervisors

1 year of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing, packaging or distribution facility

Experience effectively communicating and presenting information in one-on-one and small and large group situations to customers, clients, leadership and team members

Leadership skills that foster teamwork in meeting goals and objectives

Guide, coach, schedule and train Quality Assurance and Receiving Quality Technicians; cover for them in their absence

Oversee the nonconforming product process

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Perform inspection and testing of components and assemblies for conformance to design and configuration requirements

Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.

Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined Test Plans and Test Instructions.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Review batch results, compile and generate certificate of analysis.

Communicate findings to Operator, Supervisor, and Quality Manager.

Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blue prints.

Must be very detail oriented.

Must have solid work ethic, motivation, and attention to detail.

Must be able to effectively communicate with others.

Inspects trailer and trailer components using bill of materials, sales orders, prints, measuring tools, and inspection procedures.

Reads and follows work instructions, work rules and directions

Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area

Uses inspection, measuring and test equipment as required

1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Prior experience in quality and continuous improvement tools and techniques

Execution: Executes the assigned work per agreed work flows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines

Materials and output: Ensures availability of required materials to execute the assigned work per work flow.

Health & safety: Conducts shop floor operations in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance
