Track department KPI's to effectively manage requirements

Minimum 3+ years of food manufacturing experience

[Ensures compliance with all quality programs, including GMP, HACCP and all other prerequisite programs. ]{alegreya="" sans\"\"=""}

[Execute quality inspection schedules on a daily, weekly, and structural basis. ]{alegreya="" sans\"\"=""}

[Oversees audits of local and domestic suppliers, as necessary. ]{alegreya="" sans\"\"=""}

[Support the company Recall and Food Defense Program. Conducts mock recalls/traceability exercises as requested. ]{alegreya="" sans\"\"=""}

Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience

Experience with RedZone and Just Foods is a plus

Lead, Manage and Hold Accountable

Bachelor's degree in Food Science

Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance

Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well

Developing initial and subsequent modifications of product assurance program to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within program

Maintaining plant quality systems in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience with Meat & Seafood (preferred)

Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Must have proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). SAP experience preferred.

High School Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree preferred; or 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and training.

Complete additional task as directed by QA Manager or QA Superintendent.

Manage the team of hourly/SNE QA Technicians including managing Kronos Timekeeping System.

Previous experience in poultry further processing or slaughter preferred

Strong interpersonal communication and oral presentation skills.

Ability to multitask in team development, time management, and effective communication skills

Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training

Manufacturing experience and Food Industry knowledge

Knowledge acquired through 1 - 3 years of work experience

Support and assist in audits from internal and external regulatory, certification, customer, and or brand owner sources

Math and analytical skills and problem-solving ability

At least 6 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Advanced knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to biologics or cell and gene therapies.

Demonstrated experience directly supervising employees.

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
