Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.

Implemented or operated a quality program with an internationally recognized Quality Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and/or ISO 13485 standards)

Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing preferred.

Evaluates Quality Assurance staff performance accurately and fairly. Communicates and discusses performance on a regular basis. Prepares performance appraisals.

Identifies key development needs for staff and works to mentor staff and provide appropriate training and assignments in core competency areas.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related field

Ensure quality metrics are adequately captured, analyzed the communicated to management for improvement activities.

A minimum of 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in GMP or similarly regulated facility.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Develop a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including Turner's contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes).

Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.

Reports to: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, Project Manager or Project Executive

Develop and execute the project-specific QA/QC Plan with scopes of work and work procedures.

Implement project-specific QA/QC Plan in coordination with the project safety plan.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

Create, investigate, and/or manage nonconformances, as well as associated ship holds and product disposition.

Communicate and escalate Quality issues appropriately to QA Manager and address other items as assigned by Manager

Work closely with Manufacturing sites, R&D, Suppliers, Supplier Quality, Sterilization, and Regulatory to investigate and document quality issues.

Assist during regulatory inspections and/or audits as required.

Utilize SAP, Agile, and other systems as warranted for data input and quality record maintenance.

Reviews and revises testing and equipment procedures as needed. Performs equipment and procedure qualifications periodically.

Employ sound technical writing skills involving deviation reports, laboratory investigation reports, etc.

Perform or assist with other Quality Unit assigned activities related to MURR facility responsibilities associated with FDA, NRC, and DOT regulations.

Able to independently perform testing on multiple radiopharmaceutical batches manufactured on a weekly basis.

Assists peers with method development and validation activities.

Contribute to the proper maintenance and organization of the laboratory, laboratory equipment, supplies, records, and samples.

A least 3 years of experience working in a GMP environment in ATMP aseptic manufacturing; aseptic compounding or large-scale sterile manufacture

Experience with training or supervision

At minimum a Bachelor's degree

Perform or assist with other Quality Unit assigned activities related to MURR facility responsibilities associated with FDA, NRC, and DOT regulations.

Perform testing on multiple radiopharmaceutical lots manufactured on a weekly basis

Contribute to the proper maintenance of the laboratory, laboratory equipment, supplies, records, and samples.

Maintain Quality System documents and records

Detail oriented individual committed to high quality work and documentation

HACCP certified, or possess a high level of knowledge related to the certification.

Manage and document daily product slicing.

Ensure Label Requirements are met for all bags and boxes.

Cover for the QA Manager in his/her absence

Three (3) to five (5) years experience in quality assurance within a food related environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills on a general level.
