Develops comprehensive knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities

Claim to handle and problem-solving with assistance from Department Manager

All other duties assigned by the Department Manager

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent preferred or 4 years of work experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software for business applications

Management or supervisory experience is required.

A combination of educational and direct work experience may be considered.

Develop profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses.

Manage relationships, contracts, strategy, and capacity to meet plant needs with critical supply base vendors.

Strategic leader for all purchasing functions across the organization.

Lead negotiations, contracts, and buy agreements for all production commodities.
