Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent preferred or 4 years of work experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software for business applications

Identify, evaluate, and escalate critical issues to management to ensure appropriate allocation of resources in a timely manner

Understand project management fundamentals to effectively lead project themes

Oversee our Purchasing Manager to prepare requirements reports for all raw goods and bought-out components

Work with our Purchasing Clerk to complete monthly inventory reports for our finance and accounting team

Collaborate with quality manager to maintain repository of all steel mill certificates and documentation

Minimum five (5) years of experience in purchasing/procurement role, with steel industry, construction or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
