Follow proper protocols regarding probing and sampling of incoming ingredients

Use portable ramp adhering to manufactures safe operation guidelines

Scale trucks in and out according to policy.

Excellent planning, organizational, time management and prioritization skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years relevant experience or High School diploma/GED and 10+ years related experience.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Previous work experience in a unionized location is preferred.

Previous supervisory experience is preferred, especially in the paper industry.

Maintains proper levels of inventory and orders maintenance supplies as needed with the Property Manager’s approval.

Obtains bids and interacts with vendors. Remains knowledgeable of competitive pricing of supplies and services.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Order processing systems.

Completes service requests within 24 hours.

Participates in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.

· Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Technology and advanced management courses.

· Manage day-to-day wastewater treatment plant and Woodyard operations and optimization.

· Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of all equipment within the department.

· Demonstrated excellent leadership, organizational, and troubleshooting skills with high ethical standards and energy levels.

· Must have excellent written and verbal abilities.

· Demonstrated skills in Word, Excel and Power Point.

Experience working in manufacturing environment.

Troubleshoot equipment and notify maintenance personnel of any issues.

Perform basic care and preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Monitor gauges, monitors, and surroundings to ensure safe operation of equipment.

Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

Perform housekeeping to keep machinery functioning properly.

Must possess basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, and divide.) .

Must be willing and able to climb up to 25 feet using catwalk and ladders.

Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. a distance of 15 ft.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently.

Must be willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push and pull throughout the day as needed.
