Proprietary Options Trader Jobs

You are an experienced equity options trader with at least 4 years’ experience

Our US Equity Options business has become one of the leading liquidity-providers in the marketplace.

You will maximize revenue by both finding, and then capitalizing on short term mispricing, as well as managing larger positions

You will work closely with our best-in-class research and quant teams to analyze your results and improve your approach

You will have lots of responsibility and ownership early to drive strategies forward and be successful

You ideally have a background trading options at a top tier firm

Help develop risk management framework

Price options, manage risk, and ensure optimal execution of trading strategies to drive PnL

Trading/ Research experience in any asset class where quant/systematic techniques are used

Experience working in a hedge fund, prop trading firm, investment bank or trading on own account

Build and develop a diversified systematic index options portfolio

Research, develop and implement systematic trading strategies

Advanced communication & interpersonal communication skills critical for ongoing internal & external negotiations and vendor management

Strong programming skills essential (Python, SQL a must)

Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a preference for STEM related studies. Advanced degrees preferred

Quantitative aptitude essential to work seamlessly with highly advanced systematic strategies

Critical thinker w strong attention to detail and the perseverance necessary to ensure best practices

Ability to provide real-time communications & transparency to execution process

Work closely with traders to understand trading strategies and liquidity offering

Actively update and manage a CRM system

3+ years of experience in a sales trading role covering buy-side firms, with a focus on US index/equity options

Strong knowledge about the cash equity options market and its participants at the various exchanges

Able to manage the organization of events and effectively present material

Excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
