An electronic trading systematic hedge fund in Chicago is seeking a Senior Trader in their growing equity options trading team. This is a fast-track opportunity that will report directly to the Head of Trading. Work on projects across the international trading space; design, build and manage profitable trading strategies; and manage risk for systematic index options products.

If successful, join as a Senior Equity Options Trader in the fast-growing team at this systematic trading firm. The desk is very well capitalized and will focus on the whole spectrum of systematic options trading. The firm is looking for motivated, ambitious individuals from any asset class who have experience in a quantitative / systematic environment who want to be part of an exciting opportunity. The individual will have a lot of flexibility and autonomy to generate PnL.

Responsibilities:

• Research, develop and implement systematic trading strategies
• Help develop risk management framework
• Build and develop a diversified systematic index options portfolio
• Price options, manage risk, and ensure optimal execution of trading strategies to drive PnL
• Lead the design of monitors / signals / limits

Experience Required:

• B.S./M.S. from a leading university in a quantitative discipline such as math, physics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or economics
• Quantitative background
• A background in vol or options is desirable but not strictly necessary
• Trading/ Research experience in any asset class where quant/systematic techniques are used
• Experience working in a hedge fund, prop trading firm, investment bank or trading on own account
• Very comfortable using Python
