Project Mechanical Engineer Jobs in New York

Knowledge of process equipment (mainly pressure vessels and pumps), pipe, valves, fittings, structural steel shapes

Execution of detailed design activities as well as technical oversight of Mechanical Designers to complete detailed design activities

Part modeling and library maintenance in Autodesk Inventor

Part specification and development of assembly bill of materials

Support purchasing and manufacturing activities related to assembly construction

Development of assembly field installation instructions

Minimum 5 years in heavy manufacturing/industrial environment, including experience in hydraulics, maintenance systems, trouble-shooting and project management.

Must be proficient in CAD, with AutoCAD experience preferred.

Lead an internal team including union workers

Work on large capital improvement projects

Process improvements or equipment improvements

Ability to stay within budget and schedule constraints
