Project Manager Innovation Jobs in California

Support Joint Management Team with strategic planning for CBIO’s long-term work, including hiring and managing consultants as needed

Manage project budget and dedicated grants, including meeting grant requirements

Manage and coordinate project-related planning, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables required for CBIO Collaborative’s successful design and implementation of pilot projects

Experience with collaborative design process facilitation, and/or coachability and flexibility with an openness to training and professional development in facilitation

Experience in innovation engine / ecosystem / network development or other relevant partnership development experience in a complex system a plus

Develop and monitor CBIO Collaborative metrics, including evaluation of pilot projects

2+ years of project management or leadership of cross functional technical projects

Experience in indoor farming trial planning and execution a plus

Organize efforts to re-purpose any research equipment for external partners for demonstration or feasibility testing purposes

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline preferred

You thrive at delivering complex products cross functionally in a matrix organization environment

Passion for breaking apart problems and to identify base proof points for success

3+ years of experience (5+ for senior level) in relevant project management roles.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, prioritization and stakeholder management.

Translate project scope and requirements into tasks and schedule.

Business writing skills and ability to produce project documentation.

Experienced user of MS/Apple/Gsuite toolset (Gdocs, Gsheets, Keynote or equivalents).

Lead with empathy. Follow through with know-how.
