Training is provided on shop, field, project management, and vendor coordination in connection to actual projects and building sites.

Currently enrolled in an accredited college in; Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.

Ability to learn & work with project management software (iProcore, Plangrid, Rhino, Bluebeam).

Interest in working in a Construction Project Manager career path.

Interns will be given access to project, department, and specialist team meetings to gain real world industry insight.

Ability to read architectural or mechanical drawings and blueprints is preferred.

10+ years in management role

Manages changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate processes and documents

Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders as well as third parties/vendors

Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

Monitor and manage employee relations, in combination with HR when required

7+ years experience in construction and/or manufacturing environment

2-4 years of experience working in project/campaign management or creative services role in media, digital, or post-production related fields.

Manages small-to-large-scale projects with various disciplines and stakeholders.

Manages project communications internally and between all departments.

Tracks issues and works with the Sr. Project Manager to manage the impact of the project.

Must have a basic understanding of the graphic design process and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Print, Digital, and out-of-home experience.

Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Completed Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture

Prior experience as a Project Manager specializing in the reinvestment and capital repair fields

Manage project plan check and approvals through governing agencies; coordinate stakeholder approvals

Strong understanding of conceptual estimating and budgeting; knowledge of current market pricing in Northern and Southern California regions

Skilled in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, reports, building code and all construction related systems/assemblies

Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects
