Programme Specialist Jobs

Demonstrated experience of partnership management.

Coordinate due diligence, compliance checks, subcontract amendments, and other subcontract management processes according to guidance from IRC’s Awards Management Unit.

Working knowledge of FCDO commercial contract T&Cs and compliance requirements is preferred.

Excellent digital literacy: MS Word, Excel, and web-based project management tools (e.g., Asana). Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred.

Manage communication with partners for issues related to implementation against workplans, subcontracts, reporting, and regular meetings.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of FCDO policies and support partners on contractual compliance.

Oversee TMF management, identifying and sharing strategies to improve management at a portfolio and/or organization level.

Focus on relationship w/ Study Management and Leadership at the Organization level.

End to end tasks, including: TMF set-up process, Management Plan, Health & Metrics, Quality Review process

Minimum Required Skills & Experience

Report trends and offer remediation strategies for customer CRO governance.

Manage workload resourcing and oversight of KPIs to ensure continued quality of customer deliverables.

Utilize Avanos standard project management tools to drive project execution consistency and delivery of project deliverables.

Prepare and deliver project status presentations to Management regularly, communicate effectively to Management and Executive levels. Feedback outcomes to project teams.

Carrying out consultations for the development of a new inventory management system.

IT skills and programmes in which you are proficient;

Defining climate, environment, social, and governance objectives and actions.

Provide focal points with inventory technical support.

Collaborate with the SUN Emissions Reduction Officer in the processing of environmental inventory data.

Analyze UN environmental data for use in decision making.

Performs human resource, finance and travel related functions.

Researches, compiles, analyses, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on specific programmes/project and related topics.

Provides guidance and training to new/junior staff and consultants.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience working on youth engagement is a requirement.

Building Capacity and Managing Knowledge.

Experience in managing and contributing to flagship reports is a strong advantage.

Oral communication skills and the ability to speak effectively in internal and external forum is an advantage.

Specific technical knowledge strongly preferred of:

Fluency in English (Verbal and Written). Professional knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
