Position Overview
We are looking for a self-motivated Programme Manager with a portfolio of successful Go Direct and launch experiences to join the Avanos at an incredibly exciting time for the organization. This position is responsible for the programme management and flawless execution of Go Direct market introductions, M&A and product innovation programs through a methodical approach of planning and implementation of the projects from concept through to launch and post launch activities. This individual will lead the cross-functional team comprised of marketing; customer care; demand planning; pricing & tenders and contracts through all phases of a project/programme to achieve launch excellence.
Working closely with all teams to ensure cross functional project requirements are achieved to enable excellence in market launches in new and existing geographies.
The PM needs to be results focused, demonstrating program ownership and ability to guide teams through the project execution process in a time driven environment. Helps ensure consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle and across cross functional teams, building on principles of empowerment and championing best practices.
Use professional project management concepts and interpersonal skills to solve complex problems and hold people accountable, while maintaining a positive culture of collaboration. Exercise a balance of independent judgment and group organization in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or participate in all phases of commercial projects from concept through to go live. Working with cross functional teams including Regulatory, Legal, Packaging and Labelling, Marketing, Demand Planning, Pricing & Tenders, Customer Service and Commercial workstreams to ensure market readiness.
  • Constantly work to improve the internal processes through simplification and efficiency in order to improve the time-to-market cycle for existing & new products into new marketplaces.
  • Prepare project summary reports, develops project plans, identifies risk and communicates mitigation activities.
  • Maintain and monitor project budgets, directing the efficient use of resources to effectively complete projects.
  • Mentor project team members assisting in their execution and development in project management skills; and develop strong influencing behaviours to drive business outcomes.
  • Utilize Avanos standard project management tools to drive project execution consistency and delivery of project deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver project status presentations to Management regularly, communicate effectively to Management and Executive levels. Feedback outcomes to project teams.
  • Manage stakeholder and project communication (includes updates to leadership, stakeholder alignment on project scope and milestones, and escalation of issues and risks).
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand (30%).
  • Adhere to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards and corporate policies.
  • Responsible for planning and tracking project performance, against completing short- and long-term goals.
  • Effectively leads cross functional project teams in a collaborative environment, completing project deliverables per target timelines and requirements.
  • Ensure programme remains within scope and on schedule
  • Perform other duties as required.
