Program Manager – Youth Support Manager Jobs in Illinois

A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience

Strong POS computer and Internet skills

Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees

Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers

Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.

Experience with youth or public program design, facilitation and management.

Strong organizational skill is required, as well as effective resource management (material and staff)

Coordinate marketing materials with Museum internal departments, including but not limited to External Affairs, Guest Experiences and Special Events.

Individual must possess excellent verbal communication skills.

Ensure the delivery of engaging and dynamic programming for youth participating in all Camps programs.

Use inquiry-based practices and design-thinking/iterative design processes in facilitating learning and engagement.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Help with onboarding and training

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized

Technical, Engineering, or Construction Management degree a plus, but not required.

Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, including night shift, following strict fatigue management guidelines.

Experience with a variety of heavy equipment, especially cranes, preferred.

Experience with piping design and understanding of ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3

5+ years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting and pipe fabrication.

Ability to read and understand P&IDs, ISO's, piping isometrics, fixed equipment design packages, and pipe specs.

Strong project management, research and organizational capabilities

Manage SkyART Art Therapy program including recruitment and onboarding consultants and participants

Along with SkyART Operations Manager, regularly review contracts, revise schedules, and attend to all other practical details associated with programs

Detailed-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and writing skills

Significant experience working with youth

Knowledge of art and art history, practicing artists strongly encouraged
