Program Accountant Jobs

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with program accounting principles and practices with human-services related programs

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate having greater depth of experience and knowledge related to accounting principles and practices

Six (6) years of professional accounting experience

Two (2) years of professional accounting experience.

Excel and Google suite Experience

Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of management and various groups

Assist in responding to inquiries from management, auditors, financial controls program members and regulatory agencies

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently in today’s remote work environment and adhere to established deadlines

Work closely with finance, accounting, and business partners to ensure transactions are accurately reflected in our financials

3+ years of relevant accounting experience

Experience preparing GAAP financial statements

Hourly Salary Range for Accountant 1 is $26.01 - $38.57

Hourly Salary Range for Accountant 2 is $29.92 - $44.32

Assemble and prepare budget information by analyzing accounting records and reports and estimating revenues and expenses.

Respond to requests for information from auditors or other external funding sources concerning the financial activities of a county program.
