Production Quality Inspector Jobs

·Must have 5-10 years of production & quality automotive industry management experience.

·Preference for industry experience & knowledge of automotive castings and machining of castings is ideal.

·Prior experience with ISO & IATF quality systems are required.

·Must have experience with ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949.

·Must have audit industry experience.

·Preference for prior experience with automotive underbody castings of electric vehicles is an advantage.

Bring any production issues to the attention of the Lead, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

Familiarity with all safety requirements for operation of production equipment and machinery.

Determine whether product meets established specifications and segregate out any non-conforming product as directed by established procedures.

Record all work performed on the appropriate work documents.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to use microscopes and hand-held/table-top measuring equipment.

Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management

High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred

Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel

Visually inspect all garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage

Ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process

Previous experience as a General Labourer in a manufacturing environment an asset

Existing knowledge of Workplace Safety, First Aid and CPR preferred

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Similar inspection criterion and strictly follow WSI.

Review EL image to decide pass/reject for a product.

Check final assembly for finish, labelling, and packaging methods.
