Production Quality Control Specialist Jobs in California

Knowledge of quality management systems, current Good Manufacturing Practices, expertise with QC principles and compliance requirements.

Work with management and quality assurance in on-time closures of Deviations and LIRs.

4+ years of QC experience in the pharmaceutical laboratory industry

Lead laboratory investigations for OOS, OOE, OOTs and system suitability failures.

Lead deviation investigations related to QC laboratory, excursions, and adverse trends.

Work with QC team for data gathering, observing processes for investigations, and performance of associate interview.

Good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Proven experience in a quality control or similar role within a retail production or manufacturing environment.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and provide clear and concise reports.

Be a liaison between Production Department, Shipping Department, and contractors

Perform QC on all production, and reports findings to contractor and Head of Production

Understand fabric, patterns, tech packs, graded specs, and construction techniques

Working knowledge of document management and lifecycle.

Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems (Deviation, CAPA, and/or Change Control)

Develop and implement procedures for effective data management.

Work with QC management to continually develop data management strategies.

Performs document management tasks for forms, procedures, and work instructions.

Performs document management tasks for writing reports, procedures, and work instructions.

Minimum of 3 year experience hospital registration experience.

Ability to type with accuracy at a rate of 35 wpm with 98% accuracy.

Build and maintain strong knowledge of fundamentals and regulatory requirements applicable to laboratory operations and quality control

Knowledge of/experience with Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles, including GMP/ISO

Knowledge of/experience with MS Office, LIMS, Netsuite, Softmax Pro, laboratory automation, NGS, immunoassay, etc is a plus

Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in Operations/Quality Control

Strong hands-on experience with pipetting and plasma handling is required

Strong communication and organizational skills
