Weigh and transfer materials using calibrated scales and balances.

Utilize hand tools to assemble and disassemble various types of machinery.

Perform basic calculations with aid of a calculator.

Accurately complete all applicable documentation pertaining to completed tasks; in particular, batch records, forms, and cleaning records.

Perform detailed cleaning of manufacturing suites and equipment using various cleaning solutions and in accordance with cleaning records.

Demonstrate the skill to be performer and a verifier on executable batch records.

Strong communication skills with team and supervision.

Report all deviations from batch record requirements, SOPs or company policy, or equipment failure immediately to Unit Leader or Production Supervisor.

Follow all safety (HSE) requirements. Responsible for adherence to OSHA and GMP.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by Unit Leader or Production Supervisor.

Demonstrate the ability to train other employees

Minimum of One Year Manufacturing experience.

Lifting Requirements: Light work – Exerts up to 25 pounds of force frequently.

Samtec is seeking MACHINE OPERATORS, pay starts at $20/hr-$22/hr depending on experience

Constructs components and parts to extremely tight tolerances which may have unusual or nonstandard shapes, in an efficient manner.

Must understand manual machinery operations and have the ability to operate manual machinery.

Must be able to measure high tolerance parts using drop gages and special gaging.

High School diploma or Associates Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience, relevant manufacturing preferred

Bachelors’ Degree in a science discipline with zero (0) years’ experience

Knowledge of cGMP operations preferable

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related Qualifications

Safely operate in all production line positions

Communicate with co-workers, supervisors and Maintenance

Ensure raw materials are fed properly for all processes

Ensure the quality of the finished product

Project Management / training experience in Battery manufacturing and associated factory automation applications

Strong understanding of battery manufacturing market requirements and manufacturing capabilities

Experience creating strategic plans and analyzing markets

Battery Manufacturing Experience (E.g Li-ion process for EV and other applications)

Strong verbal communication skills, presentation and marketing skills

Experience working with existing battery manufacturers

Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience

Pay Range: $18.80 - $23.50, depending on experience
