Swing Shift Mill Worker Qualifications
Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 02:30pm to 01:00am )
Off bears material at discharge end of machines that cut, smooth, bore or shape parts.
Stacks lumber or wood products on pallet on floor, table, conveyor belt, or in bins for movement to additional processing stations.
May strap wood staves together for processing with metal strapping, using air bander to secure straps.
Production Worker 1 (Weekend Shift)

Experience in operating production equipment and machinery
Performs straightforward set up, operation and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipment
Uses a range of documents to perform work, such as job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models or specifications
Troubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problems
Ensures adequate stock of raw materials needed for work and performs equipment maintenance per schedules
Evaluates and verifies that production items are within tolerances and meet specifications as outlined in job documentation

Detailed Job Description Production Line Worker Swing Shift is responsible for operating and maintaining production line equipment in a manufacturing environment. This includes setting up and operating production line machinery, monitoring the production process, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The Production Line Worker Swing Shift will also be responsible for performing quality control checks, ensuring that all products meet quality standards, and ensuring that production line equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
