Job Description
Do you want a 4 day work week and a 3 day weekend every week? Elwood Staffing is hiring a swing shift, entry level mill worker in White City.

Swing Shift Mill Worker Details


  • Full Time work available
  • Stacks lumber or wood products on pallet on floor, table, conveyor belt, or in bins for movement to additional processing stations.
  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • Off bears material at discharge end of machines that cut, smooth, bore or shape parts.
  • May strap wood staves together for processing with metal strapping, using air bander to secure straps.
  • $ 15.40 / hour
  • Second Shift ( Monday through Thursday from 02:30pm to 01:00am )
  • Applies filler, putty, or other material to fill wood pores, holes, cracks or other indentations. May use hand held drill to remove imperfections from wood.


Swing Shift Mill Worker Qualifications


  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and work a very fast-paced, repetitive motion, standing, bending, and twisting for the entirity of the shift is a must.
  • No experience required, on the job training.
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
  • Ability to work in an environment that is not temperature controlled.
