Procurement Analyst With Strategic Sourcing Jobs

Responsible for supplier performance management and continually improving category strategies

Management of site-based purchasing teams in US (NC and MA) and Solothurn, Switzerland

Provides leadership for raw materials cross functional risk management strategy

Responsible for supplier relationship management program for materials suppliers, including stratification, governance, performance management, strategic and operational reviews, and issue escalation/resolution

Accomplished in category management (10 years+) and has subject expertise for category (8 years+)

Purchasing related requirements for change controls, supplier notifications, and new item enrichment

Demonstrating analytical, business, project management, contract, and process management skills

Contains an understanding of risk management, third party governance, and supplier relationship management.

Develop future processes that enable Procurement to grow and expand, including contract management and supplier relationship management.

Serve as a point of escalation for issue management and disputes, driving those issues to resolution.

Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Pre Law, Consulting or demonstrated skills through previous positions/experience

Leverage a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.

1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in technical, engineering, construction management, or related heavy industry procurement.

Implement and manage competitive bid processes for major equipment (solar) and construction services for utility-scale renewable energy.

Manage the development of contracting strategies, strategic category planning, processes, and procedures.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders from engineering, construction, finance, legal, and development to drive the evaluation of supplier proposals.

Proven skills in procurement, costing and estimation, negotiation, basic accounting, contract analysis, and e-procurement.

Support building tools to benchmark and model equipment and construction costs based on multiple performance attributes.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain or Management Information Systems required

Work directly with client management and executives on a routine basis on status as it pertains to engagement progression

Exceptional analytic skills and experience conducting quantitative and qualitative data analysis

Utilize strong communications skills including the ability to command an audience

MBA and/or PMP (or similar certifications) highly desirable

Exceptional business acumen, presence and interpersonal/communication skills

Lead and manage the procurement teams on appropriate contract management, vendor performance management approaches and contract awarding processes

Ensure appropriate oversight controls and audit trails are embedded in procurement processes, for internal audit and performance management purposes

Design and implement key supplier management and score carding programs, including regular feedback and recognition

Monitor activities against department objectives and submit performance reports to management

Strong command of vendor performance management and contract administration

Minimum 10 years of progressive sourcing or vendor management experience

Extensive experience in development and management of contractual relationships with multiple contract manufacturing organizations

Minimum 5 years of management experience

Strong working knowledge of GMP, ISO 9000, and other applicable regulatory requirements is necessary

Collaborate with CMOs to manage the procurement process, including the adherence of contracts, supplier performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

·Engage in external training and organizations to identify tools to enhance the sourcing process

·Power user of analytical tools – Excel, Power BI and database tools
