Process Engineer – Chemical Manufacturing Jobs in Michigan

Experience with automation equipment a plus

The manufacturing engineer will study individual and group jobs to determine the most efficient method of performing the jobs.

Recommend rearrangements of workstations, production lines, and modifications in equipment and materials to improve plant performance.

Design measured work systems to determine and control assigned manpower and labor costs by doing the following:

Monitor Controls Systems for operability, develop and implement reaction plans for various system failures

Development of manufacturing processes by completing detailed engineering analysis of:

Support program management and launch planning

Meet deliverable in terms of quality, deadlines, cost efficiency and process capabilities

· Minimum 1+ year of experience in an automotive manufacturing/assembly facility

· Knowledge of material flow concepts, quality systems, tooling systems including GD and T are preferred.

Process and assembly planning and execution. Process Flow, PFMEA, control plan and work instruction development.

Evaluating process capability and implement gauge R&R to the process

• Years of experience:- 5+ years

o Willing to look at high level experience with no degree

• Experience with:- Automation assembly system experience

o Engineer who has previous experience with automation assembly system:- Power tarin industry

Job Title:- Manufacturing Process Engineer

Duration:- 12- months position (May go Longer)

Coordinate manufacturing, purchasing, distribution, and logistical operations over multiple facilities, partnering with other Directors and management.

Ensuring that environmental programs are in place and managed effectively through practices and controls.

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing operations group, sales group, and distribution group.

Provide direct supervision, training, and development to employees.

Develop capital spending budgets for operations facilities and equipment, and ensure projects are completed in accordance with the budget.

Generate opportunities for non-intercompany revenue streams for manufacturing and distribution.
