Overview The Principal Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based systems. This includes the installation, configuration, and management of servers, storage, and networking components. The Principal Linux Systems Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system issues, as well as providing technical support to end users. Detailed Job Description The Principal Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based systems. This includes the installation, configuration, and management of servers, storage, and networking components. The Principal Linux Systems Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system issues, as well as providing technical support to end users. The Principal Linux Systems Administrator will also be responsible for developing and maintaining system documentation, as well as developing and implementing system security policies and procedures. Job Skills Required
• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
• Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, such as VMware and KVM
• Knowledge of storage technologies, such as SAN and NAS
• Knowledge of networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, and Perl
• Knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools, such as Nagios, Cacti, and Splunk

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
