Press Operator 2Nd Shift Jobs

Operate brake press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work

Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates

Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges

Verify quantity & quality of material

Empty scrap luggars and performs miscellaneous tasks as required

Operates overhead crane while moving product

Must be mechanically inclined with good math skills

Willingness to assist others, enhance job skills

High School Diploma or GED

Reliable, flexible, organized, attentive to detail

Constant standing with some climbing, crawling, stooping

Ability to frequently transport and position materials weighing up to 65 pounds

Must be able to run both progressive and hand transfer tools.

Must be able to adjust press to maintain the quality of parts.

Must be able to produce parts per the Stamp PI process sheets.

Must be able to learn tool set-up functions and to work on achieving a first piece approval without assistance.

Be able to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated attention to detail, problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude

High School diploma or GED

Three + years in printing trade on similar equipment

7:00PM – 7:00 AM, rotating night schedule

Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week and Sundays

Basic knowledge of shrink-wrap equipment.

Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher level employee.
