Provide consultation for collective bargaining negotiations and advise District administration, and Board of Directors, regarding financially related issues and impacts.

Manages employee overtime and equipment reliability to achieve lowest maintenance costs for the plant.

Manages maintenance schedulers in scheduling of work, developing and setting objectives, monitoring of progress, and the evaluation of results.

Manages the execution of major construction and maintenance projects

You have a minimum of five years leadership experience.

You have experience in mechanical and/or systems related technical training or equivalent experience, preferred. Continuous improvement/lean manufacturing experience is preferred.

You must possess analytical troubleshooting skills, and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Perform other office administration functions as needed to include, filing, generating correspondences and reports and data entry requirements.

High School Diploma or equivalent; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Establish and maintain confidential benefit files and records necessary for implementing benefit coverage, to include filing of benefit documents.

Validate bi-monthly vendor eligibility termination dates for accuracy of file load per compliance requirements.

Process and validate benefits department invoices.

A minimum of two years related Human Resources experience.

Minimum of ten years of experience in governmental, regulatory, rate or operations management.

Minimum of five years direct people management experience.

Project management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues and projects concurrently.

Manage and make recommendations regarding the preparation of revenue requirement, cost of service and regulated pricing analyses.

Manage and make recommendations regarding the execution of regulatory strategy for general rate cases and other regulatory initiatives.

Provide knowledgeable and credible technical expertise related to industry issues in regulatory and other forums.

Experience with managing a large, complex transportation department ideally in a city, state, or federal entity.

Knowledge of relevant laws, statutes, regulations, and ordinances, and the ability to analyze, interpret, explain, and apply them to daily operations.

Ability to manage functions and operations, including employee engagement and budget administration, and apply program practices to diverse and complex services.
