Pmo Gis Analyst Jobs in Utah

Designs, implements, and manages geospatial data and databases.

Certified FAA Part 107 UAS (drone) pilot, or committed to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.

Obtains, compiles, and analyzes GIS data from a variety of sources, including DWGs, drone imagery, and field collection.

Conducts routine field audits to check accuracy of GIS data and updates databases with any returned discrepancies.

Authors Python programming scripts to aid in the automation of large geoprocessing tasks.

Assists in the planning, research, development, and preparation of projects, including web applications and geoprocessing scripts.

Demonstrated experience supporting financial management activities, ideally within an IT organization (e.g., financial analysis and modeling, process mapping).

Experience with financial, vendor, and/or contract management systems and solutions.

Practical knowledge of project management concepts, frameworks, and delivery standards.

Strong financial modeling, management reporting, and executive presentation skills.

Supports IT leadership with vendor and contract management evaluation, processing, and reporting for third party providers and suppliers.

Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders as part of both the annual and ad-hoc demand management process to develop project business cases.

Demonstrated experience showing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills paired with a desire to take initiative.

Work directly with clients and ICF subject matter experts to translate business needs into data analysis requirements.

5 years of experience performing complex GIS analysis involving infrastructure and/or multi-hazard datasets.

2 years of experience working with Esri’s suite of desktop and web GIS tools.

Knowledge of data, communities, and government agencies in Puerto Rico.

Understand concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for analyzing and visualizing all types of GIS and remote sensing data.

Experience with data management pertaining to the design of linear facilities such as pipelines, communication cable, etc.

US citizenship is required per contract requirements.

Strong Editing and Data Analyzing Skills

Experience working with Esri Geodatabases

Working knowledge of CAD programs and importing drawings into GIS.

Knowledge of cartographic procedures and practices.

Solid proficiency in ArcGIS. CAD experience is desired, but not required.

Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills

Experience with mapping and survey-grade GPS systems is a plus

Bachelors in related field or 2 - 5 years of experience is desired

Use GIS to support various missions on military installations throughout the United States and abroad

Utilize GPS and other tools to locate and map utilities and infrastructure
