Plastics Production Engineer Jobs in Texas

Knowledgeable with choke management and nodal analysis to implement optimal drawdown and FBHP management

5 years experience in facilities and/or production engineering

Knowledgeable in gas lift, rod lift, and plunger lift design, troubleshooting and optimization

Knowledgeable with onshore surface facility design, damage mechanisms, operational troubleshooting, and best practices

Knowledgeable with data analytics, SQL and PowerBI

Optimize well performance by working closely with field Operators and Optimizers

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering. Equivalent experience also acceptable

Quality systems experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)

Experience with broad variety of measurement and inspection techniques

Plastics fabricators at all levels are expected to perform work at increasing levels of skill and complexity as they gain experience.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Perform wet contact layup to fabricate/modify parts meeting technical requirements.

Reliability, communications skills, workmanship, and good judgment are essential traits.

Must be able to qualify for and maintain certifications necessary to accomplish assigned duties.

Perform composites/plastics repairs on existing aircraft components.

Required Core Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks

Manage and optimize chemical programs treating scale, corrosion, H2S, etc.

Minimum Three (3) years of experience in Production, Operations, and/or Reservoir Engineering in the Exploration & Production (E&P) or relevant industry

Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle

Strong team and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Manage the performance in preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of lectro-mechanica and pneumatic automobile manufacturing equipment

Manage projects involving multiple departments and/or outside contractors

Skilled at leading, coaching and developing direct reports across a broad range of engineering and technical disciplines

Broad experience with lean manufacturing systems and methodologies, including; Tier Accountability, Layered Auditing, Continuous Improvement and Kaizen Activities
