Overview A Plant Operations Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of plant equipment and systems. They are responsible for ensuring that all plant operations are running efficiently and safely. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of areas, including mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering. Detailed Job Description Plant Operations Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of plant equipment and systems. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of areas, including mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with plant equipment and systems. They must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. They must be able to perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems. They must be able to operate and monitor plant equipment and systems. They must be able to identify and report any safety issues. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with plant equipment and systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems
• Ability to operate and monitor plant equipment and systems
• Ability to identify and report any safety issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
• Previous experience in plant operations preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Experience
• Previous experience in plant operations preferred
• Previous experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment and systems
