BS degree in Business, Operations Management, or Materials Management and 5 years of Manufacturing planning or relevant experience.
Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills including presenting to large groups and senior management.
Ensure optimization of materials management activities including scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement and indirect materials.
Planning Department workings knowledge/experience. Setting of department direction and leading, clearing obstacles and analyzing performance above the details.
Manage Resource / Production / Capacity Planners relating to machining, heat treat, assembly, and fabrication operations.
Experience with forecasting, production planning, MRP, and Inventory Control.
