Essential Functions And Responsibilities Include The Following

CareFlight Of The Rockies Requirements

Operates Air Methods’ aircraft in a safe and legal manner.

Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to a four-year technical degree and six or more years progressively complex aviation experience.

Equivalent professional aviation experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

Progressively complex aviation experience must include work done as an instructor pilot in a formal training program.

Must have excellent organization skills including planning and coordinating work assignments.

Completion of the Air Combat Command Classroom Instructor Course or MAJCOM equivalent satisfies the CRI requirement.

Ability to meet AFI 11-2 MQ-1/9, Volume 1, Chapter 2 Instructor Pilot Prerequisites prior to certification as an MQ-1/9 IP.

Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

Safely conduct flights as Pilot-In-Command under Part 91 in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Plan project-specific logistics including FBO coordination, ATC/airspace coordination, and hazard report assessments of locations prior to project deployments.

Ensure correct project-specific equipment and tools are on aircraft before departing for projects.

Assist with loading/unloading of scientific equipment.

Commercial Airplane Single-Engine Land certificate

Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills

Conduct debrief sessions with hiring manager to discuss candidate qualifications

Ability to quickly assess candidate’s skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations as appropriate

Knowledge & Experience in using Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (i.e. iCIMS)

Knowledge and Experience using HRIS platforms (i.e. PeopleSoft and COMPAS)

Crafts sourcing strategy for approved job and collaborates with hiring manager

Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills

Ability to carry equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings

200+ verifiable hours of commercial flight systems experience.

3+ years experience with professional level sUAS systems and project support.

5-8 years in remote sensing technologies.

Provide leadership and manage recruitment team responsible for pilot hiring processes

Assess candidates to determine qualifications, interview prospective candidates which includes in-person interviews and/or administering pre-placement testing

Assist with design and development of recruiting tools to drive efficiency, improve equity, and provide an industry leading applicant/participant experience

Create and manage recruiting and diversity analytics in partnership with People Analytics and Flight Operations

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience

5 or more years HR experience, with at least 3 years of dedicated recruiting experience

Provide leadership and manage recruitment team responsible for pilot hiring processes
