Transplant patients- chronic pancreatitis, liver, renal.

One year of previous Nursing Assistant experience or equivalent experience preferred.

Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required.

Skills in basic computer operation.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position.

Demonstrates competency in Pediatric Drug Management and Basic EKG interpretation.

One (1) year Medical Surgical RN experience in acute settings preferred.

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in providing age-appropriate care

Re-assesses patients' needs and/or response to treatment and promptly confer with physician/provider.

Utilizes available technology and equipment i.e. life support systems, invasive/noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring systems in providing patient care.

Transports the critically ill patients to the unit and communicates significant findings to receiving staff using appropriate handoff technique.

2 years of RN experience within a hospital setting preferred

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant program.

Completion of Medical Assistant program.

Completion of first clinical semester in accredited nursing program.

BLS CPR certification required via AHA; PALS required by date of hire

1+ years pediatric critical care hospital experience required

Experienced Pediatric ICU / Neonatal ICU nurses needed!

Active Florida or Compact RN license is required
