Pharmacy Technician Iii Jobs

Maintains an appropriate level of competence by ongoing development of knowledge and skills.

Coordinate with other team members and assists manager with implementation of new applications.

Demonstrates knowledge regarding special needs and behaviors of age specific groups.

Participates in age specific educational and training programs.

Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency regarding special needs and behaviors of age or ethnic specific groups.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other health care professionals.

Assist Team Leader(s) in monitoring and oversight of incoming work flow queues (telephone/fax/e-mail), work distribution, and process management

Minimum one (1) year managed care experience is required

Computer proficient with knowledge and experience in a “Windows” environment

Excellent leadership experience and skills

Assist Team Leader in ongoing education and communication of changes to Pharmacy Techs

Will utilize self-opportunities for all skill sets

3 years of hospital experience required

A diploma from an approved pharmacy technician training program may be an acceptable alternative for six months of experience

PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or equivalent national certification within 180 Days required

Consistently fulfills all the responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician II.

High School Diploma or GED required

Up to 2 years of technical or other specialized training may also be required

Proficient knowledge of basic computer skills

Must possess the following pharmaceutical knowledge/skills:

Provides training to new technicians in job duties, procedures and techniques.

Extensive knowledge of complex hospital medication use system

Strong communication and organizational skills
