Overview Personal and Group Fitness Trainers are responsible for designing and delivering safe and effective fitness programs to individuals and groups. They provide guidance and support to clients to help them reach their fitness goals. They also provide education on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Detailed Job Description Personal and Group Fitness Trainers are responsible for designing and delivering safe and effective fitness programs to individuals and groups. They assess clients’ fitness levels and develop individualized fitness plans to meet their needs. They provide guidance and support to clients to help them reach their fitness goals. They also provide education on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes. They may also provide motivation and encouragement to help clients stay on track with their fitness goals. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
• Knowledge of exercise techniques and equipment
• Knowledge of nutrition and lifestyle changes
• Ability to motivate and encourage clients
• Ability to assess clients’ fitness levels
• Ability to design and deliver safe and effective fitness programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a variety of clients
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
• Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g. ACE, NASM, NSCA)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal or Group Fitness Trainer
