1-3 years of relevant work experience in project management, environmental permitting and/or regulatory compliance

Develop the training and education materials for Baffinland employees to ensure proper communication of regulatory requirements, as required.

Strong communication and organizational skills

Support the approval of major project expansions by coordinating the preparation of key permits, environmental assessments and field programmes

Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field

A thorough understanding of environmental mitigation requirements, and experience implementing cost-effective mitigation strategies.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, analytical and planning abilities, and good judgement.

Experience working with permitting specialists, regulators, project managers, environmental lawyers, scientists, planners, engineers, and contractors.

Prepare, evaluate, and/or manage the preparation of natural resource surveys, land use applications, environmental impact reports, and other technical reports.

The ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.

Expert communication and organization skills.

Utilize professional communication skills exercising judgment and collaborative skills to achieve outcomes that are satisfactory for all parties involve.

Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality and current requirements for product integrity.

Town and State permits (road opening excavation, new pole/anchor placements)

DigSafe ticket entry and tracking

Support compliance initiatives, including audit readiness program, execution of investigation process, and quality improvement plans.

Investigate audit findings with regulatory implications, and prepare a comprehensive report for senior leadership.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Five (5) years of previous permitting, administrative, secretarial, or customer service experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Assists project manager by performing code and records research and compiling data.

Assist the Project Manager in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFPs, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.

Attend and support Project Manager and/or attend individually and represent TrueNet at client meetings.
